Ward's SofStop ("SofStop") warrants its products against defects in material or factory workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase (the "Warranty Period") unless otherwise stated. If you discover a defect in the materials of factory workmanship during the Warranty Period, you must promptly notify SofStop in writing. SofStop will, at SofStop's option, repair or replace the defective Product at no cost to you, the customer, except for shipping, insurance and installations costs, for which you, the customer, will retain responsibility. This warranty does not cover any loss or damage caused by:

a. Improper installation of the product.
b. Use of the Product for purposes other than those for which designed.
c. Disasters such as fire, flood, wind, storm and lighting.
d. Unauthorized alterations to or modifications of the Product, or any other abuse or misuse of the Product.

SofStop's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or the replacement of the defective Product. Your sole and exclusive remedy against SofStop shall be for the repair or replacement, at SofStop's option, of any defective Products as provided herein. In NO EVENT SHALL SOFSTOP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RELATING TO OR ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFOMANCE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING WITH LIMITATION, ANY LABOR AND/OR INSTALLATION EXPENSES INCURRED IN THE CONNECTION WITH THE REPLACEMENT OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT WARRANTED HEREUNDER, OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES WITH THE RESPECT TO LOSS OR REVENUES OR PROFITS. Some states don not allow the exclusion of limitation of consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE EQUIPMENT INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MECHANTABILITY AND FITNESS OF A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD. Some states do not allow limitations on how long and implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. No agent or representative of SofStop or any other person has any authority to change or modify this warranty, either in writing, in any respect. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
